I’m Chelsea owner of Pasture Petals.
My love of flowers goes as far back as I can remember. Whether it’s gathering small bouquets in the yard right before the grass needs to be mowed, walking through the pasture making large Indian Paintbrush arrangements, or anxiously staring at one of the many beautiful gardens that belonged to women in my family, because I wanted to pick every single bloom for my own!
I’ve always loved flowers.
In college it was not unusual for me to even have multiple fresh flower arrangements in my dorm!! I was just working on the prerequisites for my MRS degree. lol
At my first rent house, I revived all of the flowers beds. It was not until I had finished this big chore that I realized the outside water was not hooked up and the landlord had no intention for it to be hooked up. So I made many many trips in the house with my watering can to keep my flowers alive and I loved it!
My favorite gift to receive and to give has always been flowers. Hosting an event? Here’s a beautiful arrangement. Having a birthday? Here’s some fresh blooms. Just had a baby? Here’s dinner, an ice pack, some stool softeners, and flowers! Lol
My excitement for sharing this lifelong love of mine is bursting at the seams! I hope you follow along as I tell the story of Pasture Petals in anticipation for our first blooms!
